MICHIGAN — A 60-year-old Alabama man was arrested Friday following a reported road rage incident involving a handgun on Interstate 75 in Monroe County, according to police.
Authorities said officers were called to the area of I-75 near mile marker 10 after a driver reported that a man in a black GMC pulled alongside them and displayed a gun.
The victim told police they exited the highway at Exit 15 and waited on North Dixie Highway for officers to arrive.
Police later located the suspect vehicle near Brest Road and conducted a stop. Officers said they found a handgun inside the vehicle.
The driver, identified as a man from Decatur, Alabama, did not have a concealed pistol license, authorities said.
He was arrested and is facing charges of felonious assault and weapons violations.
