MISSISSIPPI — A woman suffered non-life-threatening injuries Friday after accidentally shooting herself, according to the Jackson Police Department.
The incident happened at a home on Woodville Drive.
Detective Tommie Brown said the woman’s injuries are not considered life-threatening.
No additional details about the shooting have been released. The case remains under investigation.
