OHIO — An 87-year-old Blanchester man has died following a two-vehicle crash Thursday morning in Warren County.
According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, Jerrold Rajewski died at Miami Valley Hospital after being flown from the crash scene at the intersection of U.S. 22/3 and Middleboro Road in Salem Township.
Troopers said the crash occurred around 11:30 a.m. when a 2004 Toyota Camry traveling north on Middleboro Road failed to stop and was struck by a westbound Dodge Ram 1500 on U.S. 22/3.
Rajewski was a passenger in the Camry. The driver of the Camry was transported to TriHealth Bethesda North Hospital with serious injuries.
The driver of the Dodge Ram was not seriously injured and is expected to recover.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol continues to investigate the cause of the crash.
