WEST VIRGINIA — A man killed in a crash involving a semi-truck on Interstate 64 West Tuesday evening has been identified by the South Charleston Police Department.
Captain Andrew Golden said Jeffrey Simons, 63, of Wellsburg, Iowa, died in the crash while driving a semi-truck.
The crash was reported just before 5:30 p.m. Tuesday on the Dunbar/South Charleston Bridge along I-64 West in the South Charleston area, according to dispatchers.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation by the South Charleston Police Department.
