Injuries reported following multi-vehicle crash on I-75 in Ohio

OHIO — A multi-vehicle crash on Interstate 75 in Miami County left several people injured and caused significant traffic delays Tuesday morning.

According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, troopers from the Piqua Post responded around 6:50 a.m. to the southbound lanes of I-75 just south of State Route 41 after receiving reports of a crash.

The collision involved at least four vehicles, including a commercial vehicle. Injuries were reported, but authorities have not released details on the number of people hurt or the severity of their injuries.

The crash initially blocked all southbound lanes of the interstate. As of Tuesday morning, the left lane had reopened while crews continued working at the scene.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
