INDIANA — A crash involving a semi-truck caused traffic disruptions on Interstate 70 in Wayne County early Wednesday morning.

According to an alert, the crash occurred around 5:20 a.m. on eastbound I-70 near mile marker 136, in the area of Exit 137 at State Road 1 between Hagerstown and Cambridge City.

Officials said all eastbound lanes were initially closed due to a semi-truck crash in the right lane and ongoing construction in the left lane as part of the Revive I-70 project.

By approximately 6 a.m., the left lane had reopened to traffic, while the right lane remained closed as crews continued to respond to the incident.

Motorists traveling through the area should expect delays and use caution while approaching the crash scene and construction zone.

No information on injuries or the cause of the crash was immediately available.
