NEBRASKA — A 19-year-old motorcyclist was killed in a crash Tuesday night in southeast Lincoln, according to the Lincoln Police Department.
The crash occurred at the intersection of Eiger Drive and Nebraska Parkway.
Police said the motorcycle was traveling westbound on Nebraska Parkway when it collided with an SUV that was traveling eastbound and attempting to turn onto Eiger Drive.
The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities have not released the victim’s identity.
Investigators said they do not believe drugs or alcohol were factors in the crash.
The Lincoln Police Department is continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the collision and the exact cause of the crash remains under investigation.
