
OHIO — More than 3,100 customers across Ohio are currently without electricity Wednesday morning, according to data from PowerOutage.us.
As of the latest update, 3,135 customers are without power statewide out of more than 5.4 million tracked customers. Ohio currently ranks eighth in the nation for the total number of outages and 12th for the percentage of customers affected.
Lucas County is reporting the largest number of outages in the state, with 916 customers currently without power. Cuyahoga County follows closely with 913 outages, while Hamilton County has 336 customers affected. Lorain County is reporting 261 outages, Franklin County has 167, Richland County has 94, Fairfield County has 64 and Delaware County has 60.
Among utility providers, FirstEnergy is reporting the largest number of affected customers, with 1,434 outages. Cleveland Public Power has 896 customers without service, Duke Energy is reporting 337 outages, American Electric Power Ohio has 333 and South Central Power has 68.
Lucas County currently has the highest outage percentage among the counties listed, with 0.44% of tracked customers without electricity. Cleveland Public Power has the highest outage percentage among utilities, with 1.22% of customers affected.
Utility crews continue working to restore service as outages remain active across Ohio Wednesday morning.
