
TEXAS — More than 7,200 customers across Texas are currently without electricity Wednesday morning, according to data from PowerOutage.us.
As of the latest update, 7,297 customers are without power statewide out of more than 15.4 million tracked customers. Texas currently has the highest number of reported power outages in the nation.
Liberty County is reporting the largest number of outages, with 2,325 customers currently without electricity. Travis County follows with 825 outages, while Ector County has 700 customers affected. Tarrant County is reporting 597 outages, and Bexar County has 495. Dallas County currently has 316 outages, Harris County has 293, and Reagan County has 192.
Among utility providers, Entergy is reporting the largest number of affected customers, with 2,573 outages. Oncor has 2,118 customers without power, Austin Energy is reporting 774 outages, CPS Energy has 495, and CenterPoint Energy is reporting 418.
Liberty County is also experiencing the highest outage percentage in the state, with 4.39% of tracked customers currently without power.
Utility crews continue working to restore service to affected customers across Texas.
