
VIRGINIA — A motorcyclist suffered serious injuries in a single-vehicle crash on Route 288 in Chesterfield County on Tuesday evening, according to Virginia State Police.
Troopers were called to Route 288 North near Courthouse Road at approximately 5:43 p.m. on June 2 for a reported motorcycle crash.
State police said the crash involved only the motorcycle. The rider was transported to Chippenham Hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
Authorities have not released the identity of the motorcyclist or provided details about what may have led to the crash.
Virginia State Police said the crash remains under investigation.
