
TEXAS — Three teenagers were hospitalized after a shooting at a house party early Monday morning on San Antonio’s inner west side, according to the San Antonio Police Department.
Police said the shooting occurred around 2 a.m. outside a home in the 700 block of South Chupaderas Street near El Paso Street and Torreon Street.
Investigators said two teenage boys and one teenage girl were struck by gunfire during the incident. All three victims were transported to a local hospital for treatment.
Authorities said one of the teens suffered gunshot wounds to the chest and back and remains in critical condition. The other two victims were reported to be in stable condition.
Police said one of the injured teenagers initially drove themselves to a nearby hospital before later being transferred to University Hospital.
Investigators have released few details about what led to the shooting, and no suspect information has been made public.
It was not immediately clear whether any arrests had been made.
The San Antonio Police Department continues to investigate the shooting, which remains an active and developing case.
