TEXAS — Two people were hospitalized after a shooting late Sunday night at an apartment complex in the Pleasant Grove area of Dallas, according to police.
Officers responded just before 11 p.m. to an apartment building near Bruton Road and North Saint Augustine Road.
When police arrived, they found a crashed vehicle riddled with bullet holes. A man inside the vehicle had been shot and was transported to a hospital in serious condition.
Investigators also located a second gunshot victim inside an apartment at the complex. Police have not released details about the extent of that victim’s injuries.
Authorities said the gunman fled the scene before officers arrived and remains at large.
Police have not released a suspect description or said what may have led to the shooting.
