
WISCONSIN — A 51-year-old Sheboygan man was found dead Friday morning in the parking lot of Horace Mann Middle School following a bicycle accident, according to police.
Officers were dispatched to the school at approximately 6:40 a.m. after receiving a report of an incident on school grounds. When they arrived, they found the man deceased in the parking lot.
Police said the victim died from injuries sustained in the bicycle accident. Authorities identified him as Gabriel Solis, a Sheboygan resident who worked at a local Piggly Wiggly store.
Investigators said no other vehicles were involved in the incident, and no other individuals are being sought in connection with the death.
Following the incident, the Sheboygan Area School District canceled classes at Horace Mann Middle School for the day. School officials thanked families for their understanding as the community copes with the tragedy.
The Sheboygan Police Department continues to investigate the circumstances surrounding the accident.
