INDIANA — The Fort Wayne Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating a missing 12-year-old boy.
A public safety alert issued Friday evening stated that Troy Royal was last seen in the area of 4600 South Calhoun Street in Fort Wayne.
According to police, Troy is described as a Black male, 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighing approximately 130 pounds. He has a short black afro. Authorities said no clothing description was available at the time the alert was issued.
Police released the alert shortly after 7 p.m. Friday as officers worked to locate the child.
Anyone with information about Troy’s whereabouts is asked to contact the Fort Wayne Police Department at 260-427-1222.
The search for the missing boy remains ongoing.
