GEORGIA — A 47-year-old man is recovering after being shot Thursday night in south Macon, according to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies responded around 8:30 p.m. to a reported shooting in the 3400 block of Pio Nono Avenue. When they arrived, they found a 47-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound.
Authorities said the victim’s injuries were not considered life-threatening. He was transported to a hospital for treatment.
The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office said the case is being investigated by the Criminal Investigation Division.
