MINNESOTA — A man was hospitalized with possible life-threatening injuries after a shooting Thursday night in Minneapolis, according to police.
Minneapolis police officers responded just before 9 p.m. to multiple reports of gunfire near 6th Street North.
Investigators found evidence of gunfire in an alley behind a residence in the area. Preliminary information indicates an altercation broke out during a gathering at the residence before shots were fired.
Police said the wounded man later arrived at a hospital suffering from injuries that may be life-threatening.
No arrests have been announced.
The Minneapolis Police Department is continuing to investigate the shooting.
