OHIO — A bicyclist was killed Friday morning after being struck by two vehicles in Columbus’ Milo-Grogan neighborhood, according to police.
The crash occurred shortly after 8:30 a.m. near the intersection of Essex and Cleveland avenues.
Two vehicles hit a person riding a bicycle. The bicyclist was pronounced dead at the scene at 8:41 a.m.
Police said one of the drivers remained at the scene, while the other vehicle left the area heading south on Cleveland Avenue.
No additional information about the bicyclist or the vehicles involved was immediately available.
Cleveland Avenue was closed between East 5th Avenue and Essex Avenue as investigators worked at the scene.
The investigation remains ongoing.
