
INDIANA — An Evansville woman is facing multiple charges after police say she caused a two-vehicle crash that injured three people while driving under the influence.
According to the Evansville Police Department, the crash happened Thursday night at the intersection of Second Street and Ohio Street.
Police said 51-year-old Kristi Beshoar was driving one of the vehicles involved when she allegedly ran a red light and collided with a second vehicle.
Authorities said the three occupants of the second vehicle were taken to a hospital with minor injuries.
According to a probable cause affidavit, officers determined Beshoar’s blood alcohol concentration was more than twice the legal limit.
Beshoar was arrested and booked into the Vanderburgh County Jail.
She is charged with operating while intoxicated, operating while intoxicated causing endangerment, failure to yield the right-of-way and expired registration.
