VIRGINIA — A driver was airlifted to a hospital in critical condition after a crash involving a logging truck in Prince George County on Thursday, according to Prince George County Fire and EMS.
Emergency crews responded just after noon to Ruffin Road for the reported crash.
When firefighters arrived, they found the driver of an SUV trapped inside the vehicle.
Rescuers worked to free the driver from the wreckage before the person was airlifted to a hospital for treatment. Officials said the driver was in critical condition.
Authorities reported that the driver of the logging truck was not seriously injured.
No additional information about the cause of the crash was immediately released.
