SOUTH CAROLINA — Deputies in York County are investigating a string of vehicle break-ins that happened early Thursday morning in the Clover area.
According to the York County Sheriff’s Office, deputies have received at least 10 reports of vehicle break-ins in the Mill Creek Falls neighborhood near Highway 274. Investigators said several items were stolen from vehicles, including at least one firearm.
The sheriff’s office urged residents to check their vehicles for missing items or signs of forced entry.
One homeowner shared surveillance footage that appeared to show multiple suspects walking through the neighborhood around 3 a.m. Thursday. The video reportedly shows several people using flashlights while checking vehicle door handles and searching inside unlocked vehicles.
Authorities have not announced any arrests, and it is unclear if any suspects have been identified.
