
MINNESOTA — Nearly 2,800 customers across Minnesota are without electricity Thursday morning, according to PowerOutage.us.
As of the latest update, 2,797 customers statewide are currently without power out of nearly 3 million tracked customers in Minnesota.
Hennepin County is reporting the highest number of outages in the state, with 2,538 customers without electricity. Ramsey County has 137 outages, while Pine County reported 29 customers without power.
Other counties reporting outages include Winona County with 15 outages, Mille Lacs County with 14 outages, Washington County with 12 outages, Lake County with 11 outages and Anoka County with eight outages.
Xcel Energy reported the highest number of outages among Minnesota utilities, with 2,712 customers currently without service. Minnesota Power reported 41 outages, while East Central Energy listed 14 customers without power.
PowerOutage.us said Minnesota currently ranks sixth in the nation for the total number of outages and sixth nationwide for the percentage of customers affected.
Utility crews continue restoration efforts Thursday morning across the state.
