
SOUTH CAROLINA — A driver is facing a DUI charge after crashing into a residence in Anderson County on Wednesday evening, according to the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
Troopers said the crash happened around 6:50 p.m. in the 300 block of Glenn Street when a vehicle struck the underpinning of a home.
The driver was taken to a hospital with minor injuries. Officials said the driver will later be booked into the Anderson County Detention Center on a DUI charge.
Authorities have not yet released the driver’s identity.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol continues to investigate the crash.
