GEORGIA — Three suspects remain on the run after a police chase involving Banks County deputies ended in Habersham County Tuesday night, according to the Habersham County Sheriff’s Office.
Authorities said four people jumped out of a vehicle when the pursuit came to an end near Baldwin.
Law enforcement officers searched the area along Duncan Bridge Road from the industrial park area to Georgia 365 following the chase.
Deputies said one suspect was taken into custody, but investigators believe the other three fled the area.
Officials have not released descriptions of the suspects and have not said what led to the chase.
The investigation remains ongoing. Authorities said additional information will be released as it becomes available.
