
FLORIDA — A major crash has shut down all northbound lanes of the Florida Turnpike in Osceola County on Tuesday, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The crash occurred before mile marker 247. Troopers said one southbound lane is also closed as crews respond to the scene.
Authorities confirmed there were injuries involved, but the extent of those injuries has not been released.
Drivers are urged to avoid the area and seek alternate routes as traffic backed up around the crash site.
The crash remains under investigation.
