GEORGIA — Gwinnett County police are investigating after a person was found dead inside a home in unincorporated Grayson on Sunday morning.
According to police, officers responded around 8:42 a.m. to the 300 block of Wilkerson Way after a neighbor reported a deceased person inside the residence.
Investigators said the victim was found inside the home and is believed to have lived at the property.
The case is currently being treated as a death of unknown origin while homicide detectives and crime scene investigators work to determine what happened and rule out possible criminal activity.
Police have not released the identity of the victim pending notification of next of kin.
The investigation remains ongoing.
