KENTUCKY — Kentucky State Police are investigating a fatal shooting in Hart County that left one person dead early Friday morning.
According to KSP Public Affairs Officer Katan Parker, the shooting happened at the Love’s Travel Stop located at 4000 L and N Turnpike Road in Horse Cave.
Troopers responded to the travel stop around 4 a.m. Friday.
Authorities confirmed that one person died in the incident. No additional information about the victim or circumstances surrounding the shooting has been released.
Parker said there is no threat to the community.
The investigation remains ongoing. More information is expected to be released as it becomes available.
