KENTUCKY — One person is in critical condition after a shooting early Sunday morning at a bar in Covington, according to police.
Covington police said officers were called to Hat Tricks Sports Bar at the corner of Ninth Street and Madison Avenue just before 1:20 a.m.
When officers arrived, they found a man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
The victim was taken to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center for treatment, police said.
Investigators said the suspect fled the scene before officers arrived and has not been taken into custody.
Police do not believe there is an ongoing threat to the public.
Authorities are asking residents and businesses near the bar to review surveillance footage that could help investigators.
