TEXAS — A Powerball ticket worth $150,000 was sold in Texas for Saturday night’s drawing, according to lottery officials.
The winning numbers for the May 16, 2026, Powerball drawing were 8, 37, 40, 44, 65 and Powerball 18. The Power Play multiplier for the drawing was 3x. The estimated jackpot was $89 million, with a cash value of $39.3 million.
While no ticket matched all six numbers to win the jackpot, one ticket sold in Texas matched four white balls and the Powerball with the Power Play option to claim a $150,000 prize.
Lottery officials have not yet announced where in Texas the winning ticket was purchased.
With no jackpot winner Saturday night, the Powerball jackpot will continue to grow for the next drawing.
