SOUTH CAROLINA — A motorcyclist was killed early Friday morning in a crash at an intersection in Anderson County, according to the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
Troopers said the crash happened around 12:30 a.m. on Highway 413 at Haynie Drive near Belton.
Investigators said a Chevrolet pickup truck was traveling south on Highway 413 and attempting to turn east onto Haynie Drive when it collided with a motorcycle traveling north on Highway 413.
The motorcyclist died from injuries suffered in the crash, authorities said.
The driver of the pickup truck was not injured.
The identity of the motorcyclist has not been released.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol is continuing to investigate the crash.
