SOUTH CAROLINA — A motorcyclist died after a crash Sunday night in Horry County, according to the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
Troopers said the crash happened around 8:15 p.m. on Cates Bay Highway.
Investigators said the motorcycle crossed the center line and collided with a pickup truck.
The motorcyclist was taken to a hospital, where they later died from their injuries, according to SCHP Master Trooper Mitchell Ridgeway.
Authorities have not yet released the victim’s identity.
The driver of the pickup truck was not injured in the crash.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol is continuing to investigate.
