
TENNESSEE — More than 3,200 customers across Tennessee are without electricity Saturday morning, according to PowerOutage.us.
As of the latest update, 3,294 homes and businesses statewide are currently without power, affecting about 0.09% of the more than 3.4 million customers tracked across Tennessee.
Tennessee currently has the seventh-highest number of power outages in the country and ranks fifth nationwide for the percentage of customers affected, according to the outage tracking website.
Davidson County is reporting the largest number of outages in the state, with 2,328 customers currently without electricity. Morgan County follows with 642 outages, while Shelby County reports 194 customers without power. Hamilton County has 44 outages, and Dickson County reports 18.
Among utility providers, Nashville Electric Service reports the highest number of outages, with 2,332 customers affected. Plateau Electric Coop reports 648 outages, while Memphis Light, Gas and Water Division reports 194 customers without power.
PowerOutage.us said the outage numbers were updated within the last several minutes Saturday morning and may continue to change as restoration efforts continue.
