
GEORGIA — A man was critically injured in a shooting early Saturday morning in DeKalb County, according to police.
DeKalb County police said officers were called around 1:05 a.m. to the area of Tiburon Drive after receiving reports of a person who had been shot.
When officers arrived, they found a man suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to a hospital in critical condition, police said.
Investigators said the shooting happened outside a gas station in the 5900 block of Fairington Road. According to police, the victim went to Tiburon Drive to call 911 after being shot by an unknown suspect.
The victim’s identity and age have not been released.
