
TEXAS — One man was hospitalized after a shooting outside an Arlington restaurant Thursday night, according to police.
The shooting happened around 10 p.m. in the parking lot of a Pluckers Wing Bar near Interstate 20 and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Drive.
Arlington police said the shooting occurred during a fight between two groups outside the restaurant. Investigators said the victim was shot during the altercation and then ran inside the restaurant seeking help.
The man was taken to a hospital for treatment. Police said he is expected to recover.
Authorities said several other people involved in the fight suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
Police took the suspected shooter into custody at the scene. The suspect’s identity and possible charges have not yet been released.
Investigators have not said what led to the fight. The incident remains under investigation.
