KENTUCKY — Two people were arrested Monday following a complaint of possible illegal narcotics trafficking, according to the Magoffin County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies responded May 4 to a residence on Jake Wireman Road after receiving the complaint. Authorities said a juvenile answered the door and called for his father, at which point an adult male came forward.
When the man realized law enforcement was present, he fled toward the back of the residence but was quickly detained, along with another man inside the home.
During the investigation, deputies reported seizing approximately four grams of suspected methamphetamine, several oxycodone pills and multiple items of drug paraphernalia.
No additional details, including the identities of those arrested or potential charges, were immediately released. The investigation remains ongoing.
