KENTUCKY — Kentucky State Police Post 3 is reminding drivers about upcoming traffic safety checkpoints across several south-central Kentucky counties.
According to a release, the checkpoints are designed to deter violations and enhance public safety. Troopers will conduct the stops in high-visibility areas, focusing on impaired driving, proper vehicle registration and insurance, and valid driver licensing.
KSP officials say the effort is part of ongoing initiatives to reduce crashes and ensure compliance with traffic laws.
