LOUISIANA — A suspect was arrested after a police chase ended with a vehicle crashing into a building in Slidell, authorities said.
According to the Slidell Police Department, the incident began when the suspect caused an initial crash and then attempted to flee the scene. Police said the suspect later crashed again, this time into a Goodyear building located off Pontchartrain Drive.
Officials reported no injuries in the incident, though the building sustained significant damage.
The suspect has been taken into custody and is facing charges. Authorities have not released the suspect’s name.
The investigation remains ongoing.
