ALABAMA — A Uniontown woman was killed in a single-vehicle crash early Sunday morning in Dallas County, according to authorities.
The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency said the crash occurred shortly before 4 a.m. on U.S. Highway 80, about eight miles west of Selma.
Officials identified the victim as 43-year-old Kimeia A. Bennett. Troopers said Bennett was driving when her vehicle left the roadway, struck a guardrail and overturned.
Bennett was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s Highway Patrol Division is investigating the cause of the crash.
