Four people arrested following drug bust in North Carolina

NORTH CAROLINA — Four people were arrested and six children were found inside a home during a drug raid in Hoke County on Friday, according to the Hoke County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies executed a search warrant at a residence in the 100 block of Windlock Drive, just off Old Wire Road a few miles south of Raeford, as part of a long-term investigation, officials said.

During the search, authorities reported finding suspected fentanyl, cocaine, THC resin, Schedule IV pills, a Glock handgun and approximately $1,400 in cash.

Three women and one man were taken into custody. Jordan Ladan Lowery, 29, and Alisha Marie Scott, 32, both of the residence, were charged with multiple offenses including possession with intent to sell or deliver cocaine, conspiracy, maintaining a dwelling for drug activity, possession of controlled substances and drug paraphernalia. Lowery also faces an additional charge of conspiracy involving a Schedule I controlled substance. He was held on a $25,000 secured bond, while Scott was held on a $20,000 secured bond.

Bradley Wayne Locklear, 28, of Red Springs, was charged with possession of a Schedule I controlled substance, conspiracy and possession of drug paraphernalia. His bond was set at $20,000.

Amanda Locklear, 71, also of Red Springs, was charged with possession of a Schedule II controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. She received a $2,500 unsecured bond.

Deputies said six juveniles were also located in the home. Family members took custody of the children. The investigation remains ongoing.
