LOUISIANA — A Texas woman was killed early Friday morning in a single-vehicle crash along Interstate 10 near Sulphur, according to Louisiana State Police.

The crash occurred shortly after 4 a.m. in Calcasieu Parish. Troopers said a Toyota Tacoma traveling eastbound left the roadway, entered the median, and rolled over multiple times before crossing into the westbound lanes.

Authorities identified the passenger as 46-year-old Tremaine Denson of Houston. Investigators said Denson was not wearing a seat belt and was partially ejected from the vehicle. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver, who was also not restrained, was ejected during the crash and transported to a local hospital with serious injuries, state police said.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
