OHIO — One person was hospitalized following a shooting Thursday night in the Westwood neighborhood, according to Cincinnati police.
The incident occurred around 9 p.m. outside in the 3400 block of Werk Road.
Police said the victim was found with a gunshot wound to the left leg and was transported to a hospital with injuries that are not considered life-threatening.
Officers temporarily shut down a portion of Werk Road while they investigated the scene. Authorities collected evidence, including shell casings, before clearing the area early Friday.
No additional details about the victim or possible suspects have been released.
The shooting remains under investigation.
