
KENTUCKY — Emergency crews responded to a crash involving a commercial vehicle on Interstate 75 in Whitley County Wednesday morning, where a driver had to be rescued.
According to Goldbugg Fire Rescue, the crash happened on the northbound lanes near mile marker 13. Officials said the driver was trapped inside the vehicle and required extrication by first responders.
Authorities have not released details on the extent of the driver’s injuries.
Motorists are being advised to expect delays in the area as crews continue to work at the scene.
Kentucky State Police is investigating the crash. Officials say the situation remains ongoing, and additional information is expected to be released as it becomes available.
