LOUISIANA — One person is dead following a crash involving a log truck Tuesday morning in Zachary, according to authorities.
The crash occurred around 5:45 a.m. near the intersection of Mt. Pleasant Road and Barnett Cutoff Road.
Officials said the East Baton Rouge Parish Coroner’s Office responded to the scene at approximately 7:10 a.m.
Zachary Police and Baton Rouge EMS were also dispatched to the crash.
Few details about how the crash happened have been released, and the identity of the victim has not yet been made public.
Authorities continue to investigate the incident.
