PENNSYLVANIA — A child has died after being struck by a vehicle in Beaver County, according to authorities.
Dispatchers said emergency crews were called to the intersection of Pennsylvania Avenue and Lacock Street in Rochester at around 4:50 p.m. Friday for reports of a person hit by a vehicle.
Officials later confirmed the victim was a child who had been riding a bicycle at the time of the incident. Sources told Channel 11 the child was believed to be between 10 and 12 years old.
No suspect is currently in custody.
Authorities have not released additional details as the investigation continues.
