ARKANSAS — A man in Pine Bluff, Arkansas is facing multiple drug and gun charges following an arrest, according to police.

Officers with the Pine Bluff Police Department said they searched a home on West 24th Avenue Thursday, which led to the detainment of several people inside.

During the investigation, detectives said they found suspected methamphetamine, marijuana, drug paraphernalia, ammunition and a stolen firearm with an altered serial number inside a vehicle. Authorities said the gun had been reported stolen out of Omaha, Nebraska.

Police said the vehicle was linked to 46-year-old Kenyatta Henton, who admitted to owning the items.

Henton is charged with possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), possession of a firearm by certain persons, possession of a defaced firearm and simultaneous possession of drugs and firearms.

He is being held at the W.C. “Dub” Brassell Detention Center.

The investigation remains ongoing.
