Ohio school district announces early dismissal

OHIO — Students in part of Greene County, Ohio will be dismissed early Friday, according to school officials.

Bellbrook-Sugarcreek Schools announced that students will be released two hours earlier than usual.

The early dismissal is due to staff personal development, according to the district’s calendar.

“Please be aware of children walking home as early as 12:20 p.m., and buses dropping students off two hours earlier than typical,” the district said in a social media post.

Officials said regular school hours will resume Monday.
