
TENNESSEE — At least one person was injured in a multi-vehicle crash early Wednesday morning on Interstate 240 in Memphis, according to authorities.
The crash occurred around 4:50 a.m. near the Sam Cooper Boulevard exit.
One person was seen being transported from the scene, though the extent of their injuries has not been released.
According to the Tennessee Department of Transportation, the crash led to the closure of the eastbound exit ramp, and three lanes were blocked as crews worked to clear the wreckage.
Officials have not yet released details on what caused the crash or whether additional people were involved.
The incident remains under investigation.
