FLORIDA — Two people were hospitalized, including one in serious condition, following a crash Tuesday morning in Clearwater, according to police.
Clearwater police said the crash occurred at the intersection of Sunset Point Road and County Road 193.
Emergency crews responded to the scene, where officials said two individuals involved in the crash were taken to a hospital. One of those patients was reported to be in serious condition.
Authorities advised drivers to avoid the area and seek alternate routes while crews investigated the crash.
No additional details about the cause of the crash or the number of vehicles involved were immediately released.
The incident remains under investigation.
