KENTUCKY — Police in Frankfort are searching for a driver involved in a deadly hit-and-run crash Monday evening.
According to the Frankfort Police Department, the incident occurred just before 7:40 p.m. on April 20 along Lawrenceburg Road near Cook Out.
Investigators said witnesses reported seeing a silver passenger vehicle strike a pedestrian, resulting in the victim’s death. The driver then fled the scene.
Authorities are asking anyone who was in the area at the time or who may have seen a silver car with recent front-end damage to come forward.
The victim’s identity has not been released.
