
OHIO — One person is dead and four others were injured following a two-vehicle crash Monday evening in Clermont County, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
The crash happened around 4:30 p.m. on Old State Route 32 at Zagar Road, officials said.
Troopers reported that a 2004 Ford Focus, driven by 18-year-old Trey Farris, was traveling west on Old State Route 32 and attempted to turn left onto Zagar Road when it was struck by a 2011 Nissan Rogue driven by 31-year-old Devon Riley.
Farris was taken to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center with serious injuries. A passenger in his vehicle, identified as Laraina Holder, was also transported by Air Care to the same hospital with serious injuries but later died.
Riley was treated at the scene for minor injuries. His passenger, Christina Riley, was taken to Clermont Mercy Hospital with minor injuries, while another passenger, Zachary Prather, was also treated at the scene.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol continues to investigate the crash.
