
FLORIDA — Two men were injured in a shooting in downtown Tampa Friday night following an argument, according to the Tampa Police Department.
Officers responded shortly after 8 p.m. to reports of gunfire in the 1200 block of North Marion Street. When they arrived, they found two adult men suffering from gunshot wounds.
Both victims were taken to a nearby hospital. Police said one man is in stable condition, while the other remains in critical condition.
Authorities have detained a person of interest in connection to the shooting and are continuing to investigate their potential involvement.
According to early information from investigators, the shooting stemmed from an argument between those involved. Detectives are still working to determine exactly what led up to the incident.
